PING pro In-Kyung Kim stormed up the leaderboard with a final round 65 to take the lead and then had to weather a 20-minute lightning delay before taking home the State Farm Classic trophy.

When it was finally official, the 20-year-old South Korean claimed her second career win and fourth top five finish of the year. Her eight birdie effort over the Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois included birdies on the 16th and 17th holes. Her final birdie, a 15-footer on the par-3 17th, proved to be the margin of victory.

Now in her third year on the LPGA Tour, Kim relied on a Rapture driver, S57 irons, G10 3 and 5 woods, Rapture V2 20° hybrid and an iWi B60 putter in outlasting a strong field that included 49 of the top 50 money winners this season. She earned $255,000 and moved to 8th on the money list.

Her win was the fifth LPGA win by a PING pro this year. She joins Lorena Ochoa (2), Angela Stanford and Pat Hurst as PING staff winners in 2009.
