PING pro Bubba Watson’s week got off to a winning start when he and his partner came out on top after a three-hole playoff at the CVS Caremark Charity Classic on Tuesday in Barrington, Rhode Island. The two-day event followed Watson’s season-best 6th place tie Sunday at the Traveler’s Championship in nearby Hartford. Watson, who leads the tour in driving (312 yards) with his G10 driver, birdied the third hole of the playoff to help seal the win in the rain-shortened event. Read the whole story.
