PING pro Daniel Chopra cashed a $1.1 million check and drove off with a new Mercedes for winning the PGA Tour's season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship, but it was an invitation to his first Masters that was on the top of his mind.

The 34-year-old birdied the fourth playoff hole to beat the winners-only field and fulfill his "lifelong dream" of playing in The Masters. In carding an 18-under-par total over the Plantation Course at Kapalua, Chopra led the field in putting with his Anser2 Putter—holing a tour-record tying nine putts over 20 feet for the tournament. He also played S59 Irons (3-9, PW) and two PING Tour Wedges (52 & 58 degree).
