Glide wedges are engineered from the hands down (grip to sole) to ensure short-game performance by increasing spin and consistency from any distance. The Dyla-wedge grip (longer for gripping down for trajectory control), CFS Wedge shaft (weight, flex and balance optimized) and head design (moisture-repelling 431 stainless steel, four sole options, added bounce, loft-optimized Gorge grooves) combine to deliver our most versatile and consistent wedge line to date.

PING offers a variety of shaft flexes in steel and graphite to meet your needs and preferences. Selecting the proper shaft flex for your swing will help you get the most distance and accuracy from every shot. Generally, players with faster swing speeds require stiffer shafts to keep the ball trajectory lower, while players with slower swing speeds will require more-flexible shafts to produce a higher ball trajectory.

The choice of steel or graphite shafts is usually based on preferences for weight and/or feel. Players seeking a lighter overall weight and/or a softer feel in their irons may prefer graphite shafts, while players who prefer a standard-weight club with a firmer feel may prefer steel shafts.

The 5L cord grip features a firmer texture in the upper portion to help control direction and a softer texture in the lower portion for enhanced feel. Cord construction provides an extra-secure grip in all conditions. It is available in two versions - round for clubs with PING's Trajectory Tuning+ Technology, and ribbed for the hybrids and irons.

The 5L grip features a firmer texture in the upper portion to help control direction and a softer texture in the lower portion for enhanced feel. It is available in two versions - round for clubs with PING's Trajectory Tuning+ Technology, and ribbed for the hybrids and irons.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to fit different hand sizes and texture preferences. Since grip size influences your wrist action, and therefore the direction of your shots, it is commonly used by fitters to affect ball flight.

PING color-coded grips are available in six different diameters, and can be further customized with grip tape according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers may consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.

Available in four versatile sole designs with added bounce and loft-optimized Gorge grooves, the Glide wedges are PING's most versatile and consistent wedge line ever.

The proprietary Dyla-wedge grip is 3/4 of an inch longer to facilitate gripping down to produce a lower trajectory. Grip-down markings at 1 3/8-inch intervals guide hand placement, and a softer tapering profile improves feel when utilizing the lower grip-down markings. The 118g CFS Wedge shaft is optimized in weight, flex and balance to promote a lower launch angle with enhanced control, feel and stability.

Loft-optimized Gorge grooves feature varied radius and sidewall angles to ensure tighter spin for consistent, reliable results. A 16° sidewall in lofts 47 through 54 maximizes groove volume to enhance performance on full shots. A 24° sidewall and tighter radius in lofts 56 through 60 help compress and "grab" the ball to optimize spin on short pitches and chips.

Heads are available in standard sole (SS), thin sole (TS), wide sole (WS) and Eye sole (ES), enabling you to be fit according to your attack angle and most-common turf conditions. SS fits moderate attack angles and divots; TS is suited for a shallow attack angle and shallow divots; the WS is best for steep angles of attack and deep divots, and the ES offers versatility from all conditions, especially bunkers. When properly fit, you will feel the sensation of the club gliding through the sand or turf.

Chrome plating gives the 431 stainless steel heads a moisture-repelling finish, which creates more friction for improved spin and consistency in wet conditions and lies in the rough. 431 SS also helps soften the feel.
