The revolution was on as Karsten’s ideas about club design and manufacturing began taking hold.

Hero - 1970sEarly in the decade the acquisitions of an investment casting foundry and heat treating plant allowed Karsten to control the entire club making process – a major step toward ensuring the quality and consistency he sought in his products. He also turned his thoughts to custom fitting and a system that allowed him to offer custom fit, custom built golf clubs to all golfers. In the meantime, Karsten’s putters and irons were getting the attention of tour professionals as they began realizing the benefits of Karsten’s design ideas. The product line was expanded into woods and golf balls.
