PING products are designed, engineered and assembled at the company's corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. The company employs workers in variety of capacities, including golf club production, customer service, administrative, engineering and managerial positions.
As a Design Engineer at PING, you will be given the opportunity to combine your passion for the game of golf with your engineering knowledge to develop the best golf equipment in the world. You will design main line hard good products such as: drivers, fairway woods, hybrids or irons along with supporting components including shafts and grips.
Your primary product development tasks will include CAD model creation, prototype development, onsite testing and additional development tasks depending on product type. Projects must remain on schedule, maintain the proper budget, and meet desired performance goals. PING product designers are experts in the field of golf, physics, Creo model creation, and maintain a solid understanding of the many engineering tradeoffs associated with golf club design. You will find the role to be challenging, fast paced and rewarding as you interact with the team to accomplish project goals and bring new product to market.
Minimum Requirements: BSc Engineering – preferably with mechanical emphasis, 3–5 years experience with Creo Elements (formerly Pro/E), knowledge of the game of golf, golf equipment and the industry, strong problem solving skills, the ability to remain on schedule (on task) and achieve targeted design milestones, expertise with Microsoft Office, strong team and presentation skills.
